§03.1
Cyberdeck idea
“A computer that feels like it belongs to you.”
What
A handheld computing device as aesthetic statement. Real keys, local AI, off-grid friendly. Open hardware, retro-futurist design, beautiful and useful in equal measure. Something you want to pick up.
Why
Consumer electronics are disposable black rectangles. A cyberdeck is the opposite — personal, repairable, opinionated. It’s a brand object that embodies everything Avrah believes about technology and craft.
§03.2
Community LoRa idea
“Off-grid, open, no subscription.”
What
Community-forward open-source LoRa and mesh networking. Small, useful devices — a dog tracker, a weather station, a backcountry beacon. Built on Meshcore, designed to be shared and modified.
Why
Long-range radio is too useful to be locked behind subscriptions and proprietary ecosystems. Community LoRa puts mesh networking in people’s hands with open firmware, open hardware, and no monthly fee.
§03.3
Findables idea
“Where did I put that?”
What
Cheap BLE tags with room-level indoor localization for your home and workshop. Open firmware, Home Assistant integration, no subscription. A 10-tag starter kit for under $130.
Why
AirTags are great for keys. But makers, hobbyists, and anyone with a workshop full of tools need something different — cheap enough to tag everything, open enough to plug into the systems you already run.
